Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    I am experiencing the same issue with 16.2.

    Clearly, the printer driver code that existed in previous versions worked without this problem.  So, this is a fundamental flaw in MSoft's QA process.

    A workaround is to import the file into Keynote and then use the Keynote export function to create the .pdf.  (This is a hassle, and there are potential issues with font compatibility, but it creates a .pdf export that is much smaller than the input .PPT or .PPTX vs. a .pdf that is 10-20X larger than the input file!)

    Microsoft doesn't make guesses about when bug fixes and new features will be released. Having written software, I can tell you that making such predictions is always a problem. Sometimes a fix you think will be quick and easy takes a long time.

    At any rate, you can get the fixed version first if you join Insider Fast (but this can be a rough ride) or Insider Slow (gives you the next general release update about a week early)

    Do you have an ETA for this bug fix? Extremely annoying to regularly create 6x PDF file size vs pptx. Will be testing KEYNOTE now!
