Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

    Hi.

I am facing the same problem with Powerpoint 2016 (365 enterprise).

Been using my Macbook Pro Retina 2013 with High Sierra with Powerpoint 15.x in January 2018 and before.

A file of 464kb when saved to PDF was only 595kb.

But since February 2018 I am using Macbook Pro 2017 with touchbar running High Sierra and Office 365 (16.13) and when i save as PDF the same file becomes 12mb average. Same for all my other older files.

The files contain mostly text and formatting.

There is something seriously wrong and no solution in sight.

    Please assist.

Any update on this? We are having the same issue where even after compressing the pictures, which reduces .pptx file size from 197MB to 55MB, the .pdf file is 217MB...
