Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

Hi, since the last update of PPT the PDF export is only of low quality. Even the settings are set to high quality.

    • Lines which are thin in PPT are block-style in the PDF
    • Circles are round in PPT but ellipses in the PDF

This is very annoying as we need to create good PDF files from our presentations.

    Hi Philippe,

I tested here in 16.14, and the symptoms are same:

And print to be like this, both PDF and paper. I edited outline of one of the shapes, but the adjusting didn’t work with the line arrows:

Since we still need further investigating to this issue. We will keep you updated if we have anything.

Meanwhile, you could install an earlier version of PowerPoint to print: Update history for Office for Mac.

    Regards,

    Alex

I have the same problem with version 16.15 (180611).  My setting was already high.  I tried to use medium or low.  But it didn't change print quality.  The same files were totally fine in PC.
