Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

    I am running into this as well, and have sent feedback from within PowerPoint.

    I have been saving the same PowerPoint files to PDF for years without issue, and now I'm seeing three issues in the PDF files:

    1. Text that is formatted as "Underline" has a much, much thicker underline.
    2. Line shapes with default thickness of 0.75 pt in PowerPoint are appearing with a thickness of around 5 pt in the PDF.
    3. An inserted and resized image is appearing blurry in the PDF.

    Here's an example of one of my PowerPoint files:

    I have exactly the same problem after latest update.  I have tried everything I can think of to try to coax a good PDF out of PPT but it persists in seeing the thin lines as wide - my lines range from 1 - 2 pts and they all come out wide just as shown by you.

    Thanks for the example again. And we apologize for the inconvenience. We are here to assist you to get to the bottom of this.

    First of all, please check some test results done on our side. From our test with the latest PowerPoint (version 16.14) on both Mac OS 10.13.4 and 10.13.5 (the latest OS you may consider upgrading to), the issue can be partially reproduced. We tested hyperlink, SmartArt, simple picture and the symptoms can not be reproduced. For the arrow, the issue can be reproduced (see Oversized arrows when printing in PowerPoint). There might be something related to the content you inserted and the way adjust the content. To give you correct and reliable information, we would like to collect the content you tested shown in the screenshots so that we can test on our side via the Private Message. If it is sensitive information, could you please help point to online public resource?

    Meanwhile, could you please also verify your PowerPoint version on your side?
