Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

I have updated for PowerPoint ver. 16.14.1 and suddenly experiencing errors when I export to PDF.

Lines and arrows become thicker and some images become blurred. This applies, for example a logo brought in from illustrator.

My colleague who has not updated the PowerPoint version exports does not experience any errors.

    Please help.

    All the best,

    Rasmus

    Hello my name is Yohandi

It is a pleasure to have your participation in the Microsoft Community

I suggest you perform a Rollback of the Office applications

It is possible that this is due to the update of the version of Powerpoint that you have installed, as of version 16.xx this incident has been experienced. I recommend you rollback to version 15.xx

How to go back to Office 2016 for Mac 15.xx versions from 16.xx

There’s a PowerPoint issue where the arrows or the border around the images become extra bold, and also the images become super low-res after saving as PDF or printing.  This is Mac only- windows users are having no issues.
