Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    I discussed this with Microsoft support today, but apparently MS does not support "downgrading" onto a previous version of Powerpoint. Maybe with TimeMachine the previous version on Powerpoint can be recovered from a backup.

    Have an on-going issue with my MAC as well, this is so frustrating. I am running a business and I trusted whatever I see in my powerpoint app but then when I print it, it shows thick lines? Now, I need to downgrade to 15.41 wherein no issues are seen.

    Any fix? or update?

    I have precisely the same problem since I upgraded from PowerPoint for Mac version 16.13 to version 16.14.1. Not only does the creation of PDF increase line thickness, but also does printing to a physical printer result in the same distortion. The only work-around I was able to find so far is using a free web-based service that transforms a PPT into a PDF, and then sending this PDF to my printer.
