Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Yes. Downgrading Microsoft Office to 16.12 solved all my issues.

    The Tech said they were working on the problem and that it would be solved "soon." So whatever that means.

    The Office 16.12 installer files includes all the Office applications, so I would assume that you have to downgrade everything.

    I am using a text outline in my text for a book cover in PowerPoint, and when I convert the PPT slide to a PDF the results are a horrible black muddy mess - the outlines are so thick the white of the letter 'fill' are hardly there at all. 

    The image on the left is what the pdf is showing and the image on the right is what the original PPT slide is showing. 

    SO WHY is the pdf converting in such a mess?  

    I have NOT had this issue until this week (within the last four days of June 15, 2018).  

    Is there a setting or is the PPT software conversion programming gone awry?

    This is a known issue.

    I strongly advise against uninstalling, reinstalling because they will have no effect.

    Please click the Smile button in PowerPoint and send a frown to Microsoft to alert them that you are affected by this issued. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. The more reports, the sooner the bug gets fixed.
