Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi Paul,

As Alex mentioned, there was an issue reported about arrow oversize after printing. Our related team is investigating further with the issue. You could follow up the thread below to get the latest update for the issue.

Oversized arrows when printing in PowerPoint

About the "resolution inversion issue", could you share with us the following info?

    1. Set Print Quality to high. Print to PDF, capture a screenshot of the result.
    2. Set Print Quality to low. Print to PDF, capture a screenshot of the result.
    3. The file you used to print as PDF.

I have sent yo aprivate message to collect the file and screenshots. Please also help us confirm if the "resolution inversion issue" is related to all PPT files or a specific one.

Meanwhile, I'd like to confirm if you are using 16.14 or 16.14.1 version of Office for Mac.

    Best regards,

    Tim

    Split from this thread.

With version 16.14.1 PowerPoint Mac to PDF export is broken. Fonts, Lines are wrong and super low image quality. Before the update I was able to export high quality PDFs.

I have the same problem.  ¼ point line appears to be about a 3.00 point line.

Great find Paul. You saved me a lot of time. So many posts about this issue and Microsoft is still investigating the root of the problem...
