Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    I strongly advise against uninstalling, reinstalling, and especially advise against reverting your entire suite to a previous version. Your Outlook profile may become unusable.

    Instead, use Time Machine to restore a previous build of PowerPoint. You don't have to go all the way back to version 15 build. You should be OK reverting to 16.12 or 16.13.

    MS is aware that there are *serious* probems with this release of Mac PPT.

    While waiting for a fix, you might want to read this thread:

    It describes how you might be able to roll back to a previous version of PPT that doesn't have these problems.

    If other people will need to print your file, I'd suggest making a PDF of it from the PC and distributing that.

    If it helps, I did a quick workaround and it worked for me, only took about 20 minutes, just rolled back the apps to a working version:

    1. If they are open, quit Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
    2. In your Mac's Applications folder, create a new folder and move all five of those apps to that new folder to 'hide' them from the installer. You'll need an admin password to complete the move.
    3. If you have those five apps in your dock, remove them (drag them off).
    4. Download Office v16.13.1 from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac ("Install Package — Office Suite", down the page a bit) and install. Again you'll need admin password.
    5. If desired as shortcuts, drag the newly installed apps from your Applications folder to your dock.

    This got a working PowerPoint back for me, couldn't be happier.
