Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Hey there,

    just wanted to express my deepest confusion and frustration with this.

    Firstly, this happens repeatedly and we are always put in very uncomfortable spots with big impacts on our business as an marketing agency.

    Secondly, as people have already described here, only after 5 days we were able to find out the cause of the problem. During that time we used up a lot of time to look for viable workarounds and fixes. 

    No information from MSFT even after they have discovered that there has been issues. Thats just really unacceptable and not at all what this community deserves, as I can see many more people still wondering what has happened. Come on MSFT, be better than that.

    Add me to the long list of people experiencing this problem with the latest June 14 update to PowerPoint.  Restored the previous release of PP from my Time Machine backup, and everything prints fine to PDF once again.

    And as an added data point, I experienced this on three different computers on three different networks, but all running the latest release of PP.  So it has nothing to do with the environment in which PP is running, printer drivers, etc.  It's absolutely, 100% a bug in the latest release.

    I am surprised you didn't know about this problem already. It's been reported widely here in the forum.

    Jim I wonder if Microsoft  has forgotten about Mac's Retina display. Also Apple's new "Metal" Video features?
