Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

    I'm still having this problem in both Word and Powerpoint on Office 365/16.16. All images pasted form a pdf revert to very low resolution after I save and reopen my document/presentation. Will it be fixed soon?

    Blurring of images and text on slides is still present when printing slides with notes. However, the text in the notes (as the only thing) is not blurred. 

    In Office 2011 it was possible to print out slides with notes, for instance as handouts for students. But due to the current blurriness of the slides in Office 2016/365 it would be embarrassing to hand out slides with notes to any student or colleague. 

    Is there a fix for the issue (apart from using Office 2011) - or will it be fixed in Office 2019?
