Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Jesse,

    This is a known problem in the 16.14 release.  Hopefully it is properly documented on your end.  As far as I can tell, the only solution is to roll back to version 15.x until MS fixes it.

    This is (now) a known problem resulting from the early June update of Powerpoint for Mac. 

    I was able to fix the problem by reverting back to a version 15.x.  Here are instructions:

    Be sure to turn off the auto-updates for PowerPoint.   Here are instructions (use "Check Manually").

    Hopefully Microsoft will resolve this problem in a future build and we can go back to automatic updates (since....you know...that's what we're paying our annual Office subscription fee for!)

    What version and build of Office are you using? You can find this by going to the PowerPoint > About PowerPoint menu and looking for the line that reads "16.xx (xxxxxx)". We need to know that full number. If you are enrolled in the Office Insider program and have the latest Insider Fast or Insider Slow build, this issue should be resolved.
