Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

    Hi,

I'm trying to print PDF files from Powerpoint but the PDF files produced are now very large (~60 MB).  I printed the same PPTX files about 2 weeks ago (that is early jan 2018) and the PDF file was about 2 MB.  This is very strange since I only modified a single text line in the PPTX.

My Powerpoint version now is 16.9 (180116)

I'm a teacher and I need to upload these PDF files to the student website.  I can no longer do it because the files are now too large.  Anyone knows why this happens?  I can it be fixed?

    Thanks.

Thank you!! Saved me a huge amount of time -  @microsoft, it would be a really good idea to to keep the the high fidelity (maximum ppi) and HD (330 ppi) image compression options in your future upgrades. I note that 16.9 only allowed up to 220 ppi.
