Export as video option missing from Mac recording studio

It appears that the export as video feature is missing from the Mac version recording studio. While this option is in documentation for Mac and can be seen in some online screenshots, it is also available on Windows. Currently, I am using version 16.83, which should be the latest version.

    I apologize for any confusion. What I actually need is to export the video I recorded in the ‘Record’ tab. This video should include the timing of my presentation, the audio, and my camera feed.

    It’s indeed puzzling that such a crucial function is missing in the current version, especially when it’s documented.

    @liliXO - I was searching high and low for the same thing - very frustrating. That said, I just tried Jim's suggestion of File>Export and chose MP4. Low and behold it actually did export my recording with me presenting the deck.

    Very dumb that the documentation leads us to a method that doesn't exist!

    If you want to save the entire presentation as a video use the Menu Bar and choose File > Export. You can choose either MOV or MP4 file format.

    If you'd like Microsoft to add that command to the toolbar, use the Menu Bar and choose Help > Feedback > I Have a Suggestion.

    Your question caused me to realize I would rather have a different set of commands, so I made my own Tab on the Ribbon using PowerPoint > Preferences > Ribbon and Toolbar. These are the commands I chose. Not that on the Mac, instead of Export as Video the command is called Save Media As.

    There is a Save media as command on Mac when a video file is selected, which only saves the video itself. For instance, I recorded the presentation with cameo, I can only select and save cameo as a video file.

    And I checked through the toolbar commands in preference, there seems no Export as video command at all in the current version.
