Unified labeling, sensitivity icon not showing on toolbar

I have migrated my labels from AIP to Security and Compliance in Office365. I have published the labels and have label policy. I have Office 2019 for Mac version 16.21 from Insider FastTrack so its completely up to date as of this post. Yet I still get no icon in any of my office applications on the Mac. I am logged in to the application using my Office365 account. Any suggestions?

    An update:

    I purchased an E3 subscription as this was suggested by the support at Microsoft Office 365. I figured this be a good idea since MS website shows screenshots of this working with Office 365. Downloaded Office 365. Rebooted Mac. However, this did not change anything. Still does not work on the Mac. I get no protect icon on any MS Office application. When I use Outlook online I have the protect option so it is configured correctly.

    Update to the Update:

    Does work with Office 365, just instead of protect button you must use Encrypt button after clicking View. There is no protect button.

    For other products must go to Review and then there are permissions buttons.

    Would be way simplified if there was just a protect button instead of having dig though the ribbons for different buttons. On PC versions there is just a protect button and makes the use simpler and therefore customers would use it more.

    A couple of questions from the team, if you could confirm for me:

    1. What is the full build number that you are currently running? You can see that under the Word > About Word menu (or equivalent in any app). Look for the line that reads "16.xx (xxxxxx)."
    2. Does the label button not show up at all, or does it show as disabled?
    3. Are you signed in using an AAD account?

    1. I cannot get exact right now since we are partners and this is a client but I do know it was up-to-date on Insider Fast track as I manually checked for an update on December 6. It was 16.21 the part I remember clearly and believe build was 18120500
    2. The button does not show at all.
    3. Yes, the account is in Office365 and shows up in AAD.
