Python in Excel

After execution of step 6 above the following message pops up and will not let me proceed.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

If you have subscribed to the beta channel of Microsoft 365 Business Insider, you should have access to the latest features and updates, including the ability to use Python in Excel. However, you may need to manually enable this feature in Excel.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open Excel and click on the "File" tab.
2. Click on "Options" and then select "Customize Ribbon".
3. In the right-hand pane, check the box next to "Developer" and click "OK".
4. Click on the "Developer" tab and then click on "Insert" in the "Controls" group.
5. Select "More Controls" and then scroll down to find "Microsoft Web Browser".
6. Click on "OK" to add the control to your worksheet.
7. Right-click on the control and select "Properties".
8. In the "Properties" window, enter the following URL in the "Address" field: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/
9. Click "OK" to close the "Properties" window.
10. Double-click on the control to open the Python download page in the web browser control.
11. Download and install the appropriate version of Python for your system.
12. Once Python is installed, you should be able to use it in Excel by writing Python code in the Visual Basic Editor.
