Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

I likewise have just been force-switched to have new messages at the top of my channel chats, and this setting is terrible. It's fine if Microsoft wants to give users the option of having new messages at the top, but forcing it on everyone regardless of preference is obnoxious and not well-though-out. Kindly change it back.

win desktop chat - new at bottom

browser chat - new at bottom

android app chat - new at bottom

    its okay

win desktop channels - new at top

browser channels - new at top

    holy cow

android app channels - new at bottom

    ****

Can you do all the above at inverse on every even week numbers, and random on weekends? Maybe invent the "new at middle" or "random at top" versions at every full moon?
