Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

I might be dreaming, but it seems that the latest Teams version has roled back this horrible UI/UX mess? Anyone else that can confirm? I suddenly have the conversations in the right order again!

Which version do you have and how did you get it? It sounds like a miracle, mine is still not offering any way to get back to the old style.

I read from top to bottom, so messages at the bottom are newer, but you think messages at the top should be newer? So I scroll down to read the latest replies but up for the newest messages?

Please give me the old version.

Exactly. Oh and you also can't @ the channel name to notify all members anymore (on New Teams preview 23159.1802.2163.9887).

There's always an adjustment period when a familiar platform updates but this is not that. My app just made the switch and these changes are awful. Teams messages at the top but chats at the bottom, an all but useless channel details sidebar crowding the window, and for some unfathomable reason, posts now have subject lines?? Who thought any of this was a good idea and why?

Teams has always felt like a failed Slack imitation and this update is moving it further from the user-friendly mark.

I'm not seeing this. Are you on the teams preview, or the regular client. I clicked update, but nothing changed.

Plus, just noticed, I can no longer mark channels as read, which is a huge freaking issue.
