Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

The only "problem": it's not a bug - it's a feature (according to MS) - and it's the future.
You can get used to it now - or delay it a bit by still using the old style ... till it gets disabled.
Interesting, you still have the option to use the old style ?- which Teams version?
Just got this wrong sorting after Teams updated itself today. Turns out there was a weird looking "Try new Teams" button in the top left corner and clicking it changed sorting back to normal. It looks like an easy to fix bug, like somebody put a > instead of < somewhere or something like that. Doesn't look like a bug that should take long to fix. Just find that place with sorting or revert last commit or something. I'm surprised that people have been writing about this problem for months (sic!) and couldn't turn the sorting back to normal.

This makes me think MS is doing some kind of experiment on us. Maybe to gather data from our reactions, for their AI? Its not possible that MS actually think this would make the end users more happy, so why do it then..? And there are many other examples from MS.
I would stay away from MS if that was an option.
