Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

Does anyone inside Microsoft actually use Teams? Not sure how this change got out of internal testing.

    • It removes the ability to monitor a channel by having the bottom of the Teams window stick out from under the window you are working on.
    • Now we have to scroll down within a conversation to read all the messages, then scroll back up to find the later conversation and start again.
    • There is a mind-numbing amount of arrogance and entitlement on display here to unilaterally change the fundamental UI of your product with no choice for the user to retain the old functionality.
    • As much as i like Teams, i'm going to look into the costs of moving back to Slack.

This is a very undesirable change. If you want to offer a new option for sorting threads differently, that's great. Just changing the default sort order for all users for core functionality that's existed this way for years and providing no option to the user to adjust on their own....that's not great.

This is ridiculous! Give us an option to change this! Chat is "new at bottom", channel is "new at top" this is a joke. Fix this. Give us a new option for new message at top or bottom for chat and for channel seperately. This kinda updates are generating teams unfaming stories.

This change just happened to me today and was very frustrating to learn. I agree with your sentiment Joe. Exceptionally poor choice of design. Please be consistent in how messages are displayed or at least give us the ability to choose in the settings.
