Teams message feed is sorting new messages from top to bottom.

Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

    There's always an adjustment period when a familiar platform updates but this is not that. My app just made the switch and these changes are awful. Teams messages at the top but chats at the bottom, an all but useless channel details sidebar crowding the window, and for some unfathomable reason, posts now have subject lines?? Who thought any of this was a good idea and why?

    Teams has always felt like a failed Slack imitation and this update is moving it further from the user-friendly mark.

    I might be dreaming, but it seems that the latest Teams version has roled back this horrible UI/UX mess? Anyone else that can confirm? I suddenly have the conversations in the right order again!

    I'm not seeing this. Are you on the teams preview, or the regular client. I clicked update, but nothing changed.

    Plus, just noticed, I can no longer mark channels as read, which is a huge freaking issue.

    It took me all of 20 seconds to revert from "Try the new Teams" because this non-sensical change modified the usability and meaning of every conversation that I've been pushing to happen in Teams channel instead of the completely useless noisy group chat and meeting chats.

    Just now, it looks like this behavior has become standard for me, even with the "Try the new Teams" button disabled. I don't actually know how I'm going to work tomorrow - and if asked why my productivity and communications suddenly plummeted - this post will be my answer.
