Why can't I just turn off this feature instead of spending time looking for how to turn it off every time the app is updated. I can't turn it off on my phone and this is annoying. The only reason I still use it is because of work. this 2.0 feature is frustrating me. please help to turn it off and never turn on back again by itself.

This is ridiculous! Give us an option to change this! Chat is "new at bottom", channel is "new at top" this is a joke. Fix this. Give us a new option for new message at top or bottom for chat and for channel seperately. This kinda updates are generating teams unfaming stories.

In the middle of the day I was responding to a conversation then I wanted to scroll up and see some earlier conversations all of a sudden, my entire teams experience is different.

This is a poor experience. First updating without any warning. Then changing a time tested paradigm in chat applications to have the newest message be at the bottom of the screen.

"That being said, there are a few ways to customize your message feed to suit your needs. For instance, you can use filters to prioritize certain conversations or channels. You can also use the "mark as unread" feature to keep track of messages you haven't read yet."

I think I am with Raul on this one, in saying that the only customization to suit our needs is the one requested here. Not taking this feedback seriously, and with these types of responses is a major reason in me advocating against using products like Teams.

Thanks Collin. We don't get an option to not use this application as it has been an integral part of our business. One of the updates gave you the option of turning off 2.0 which changed the priority of the feed to the old style. The next upgrade took away the option and forced the user to get used to it. Changes are good and its natural to want to stay a certain way since we are creatures of habit. considering the feedback from multiple users in this community, they need to listen and not forget that the customer is always right which is the end user. Not everyone is computer savvy like those in the Microsoft tech developer's world. It seems like they have lost touch with the most important thing which is the simple end user.

Hi Raul, I'm Joshua and I am happy to help.

I understand how you feel about the message feed sorting new messages from top to bottom. However, this feature cannot be turned off permanently as it is an integral part of the Teams user experience.

That being said, there are a few ways to customize your message feed to suit your needs. For instance, you can use filters to prioritize certain conversations or channels. You can also use the "mark as unread" feature to keep track of messages you haven't read yet.

As for your concern about the app updating and resetting your preferences, you can rest assured that Microsoft Teams takes user feedback seriously and continuously improves the app's functionality. If you have any suggestions or feedback, you can submit them through the Teams feedback portal.

I hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Regards,
    Joshua.
