We are trying to upload 1920 x 1080 custom backgrounds and we are getting an error message saying invalid size. Testing other sizes, anything square 1:1 works but gets cropped in the viewer. We also tried 1280 x 800, but same gets cropped. There isn't mention of this update in any of the update logs. What is the correct size, is there a template to follow to know what gets cropped?

This is happening for me as well. The image size is within the image file size limits and specifications and yet it's saying it's not accpeted. I have tried clearing cache and resetting. Please help.
Olá!!
Tive esse problema, entrei em contato com o suporte Microsoft via chat e me foi orientado mudar a imagem para dimensão 1800x1800. Após isso, consegui colocar a foto no background sem problemas.
I'm now able to upload custom 1920 x1080 backgrounds........ but wasnt able to, just the same.
I have found a workaround. Import your images into PPT and then export from PPT as png. It's like magic!
