The solution that worked for me was to Update the Microsoft App Installer through the Microsoft Store. It needed an update. After that, Teams For Business installed fine.

The only way it worked for me was to run powershell as admin and run this:

    Add-AppxPackage -Path $path

    Hi,

I had also face the same issue.

Just copy the installation file to c: drive, enter admin credential if asked, double click to install.

    That's it.

After no microsoft advice or other message board's advice resolving this, I finally resolved this issue after several frustrating hours by deleting something from the registry for the particular user.

HKEY_USERS > (find the desired user's key, check environment paths to make sure correct user) > microsoft > software > office > teams > (something similar to "donotinstall")

I deleted that, and then the latest MSIX files from the website finally worked.
