I tried to install MS teams for work but it failed, please tell me what could be the reason.

    Hi,

    I had also face the same issue.

    Just copy the installation file to c: drive, enter admin credential if asked, double click to install.

    That's it.

    This is what fixed it for me. Just download it from the Microsoft Store and you should be able to sign in with a work account with no problem.

    No luck, i tried to remove and troubleshoot. Please check error below screen shot

    -Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

    -Type “control keymgr.dll” and press Enter.

    -In the Credential Manager window, click on “Windows Credentials”.

    -Look for any entries related to Microsoft Teams and click on them.

    -Click “Remove” to delete the entries.

    Same issue here.

    I ran the troubleshooter, it couldn't even find the installation file. Teams for Work was installing fine prior to the relaunch of the updated version.

    If anyone has any work around not listed here, please advise asap I have new hires I'm onboarding.

    EDIT: You have to have the standard Teams version installed, the "home" edition to download the work.
