Pressing Ctrl + C only lets you copy the conversation. I cannot give specific examples because my work is confidential but. This is the reddit post that is talking about the issue I am talking about. Copying Sender Information No Longer a Thing? : r/MicrosoftTeams (reddit.com)

    Thanks, great workaround!

For the desktop app, we can still copy/paste usernames and timestamps - but only by first selecting the text to be copied (including name and time) with a mouse, and then using the keyboard shortcut "ctrl+C" **BEFORE** releasing the mouse button on the highlighted text.

Nice, that does work for the desktop app 👍. Didn't think to try CTRL+C before releasing the mouse click. Thanks!

When copying a conversation from a messaging application it is only logical to include the time signatures and names of the messengers.

It seems an unusual requirement to not include these elements.

Please reinforce with Microsoft the need to return this functionality as the default setting for Teams and add the stripped-down, content-only/context-less version as an option in settings.
