Deeply annoying - it'd be good if it was a configurable option so folks not worried about 'too much meta data' and enjoy a helpful copy / paste functionality. Much better than the 'big brother knows best' so we're removing something we gave you.
Maybe if they added their own button that let you copy a message with the name/date included and that button could strip this metadata?

to this absolute joke of a useless over-duplicated messy paste:
Name, Redacted7:43 a.m.
Ok
Yes by UserName, RedactedRedacted, UserName7:44 a.m.
Yes
I can check [redacted] by UserName, RedactedUserName, Redacted7:44 a.m.
I can check [redacted] permissions
I you are right by UserName, RedactedUserName, Redacted7:44 a.m.
I you are right
or did you mean [redacted] remote users by 2ndUserName, 2ndRedacted2ndUserNames, 2ndRedacted7:44 a.m.

I think they skipped usability testing along with only listening to a few users.
Wow that really is rubbish!
