Why in Teams you are unable to copy the time stamp and name of the person anymore.

The best workaround I have found since the additional updates (regressions) is to forward the message in TEAMS, then copy/paste the message somewhere else (Word?), exit the message forwarding to get back to "normal" in TEAMS. You can then edit the message you are "forwarding", but it will keep the date/time stamp and the name of the person who made the post.

The Windows platform has been and always will be a garbage product because of issues like this. It would be nice not having band-aids and "workarounds", or better yet, stop changing things and leave it alone. Quit breaking everything. Please pass this on to the Microsoft overlords.

And the "workaround" does work, but this is getting really old.

Agreed. This is a DISASTER. I am losing a huge amount of productivity time. In reality, the functionality should really be like Whatsapp, with the ability to select multiple messages with checkmarks and do an action, such as copy, to all checked messages at once. Would be great for forward too as forwarding 1 message at a time is rediculous.

Not feasible. Why would you forward a singular message to post in Word when you can just highlight the timestamp individually to copy and paste? The issue is with the messages in a conversation and not one particular message. Once you highlight more than a timestamp or name you are prevented from copying anything except the message itself. Totally bonkers.
