Pressing Ctrl + C only lets you copy the conversation. I cannot give specific examples because my work is confidential but. This is the reddit post that is talking about the issue I am talking about. Copying Sender Information No Longer a Thing? : r/MicrosoftTeams (reddit.com)

Does Microsoft even READ our posts, concerns, and frustration or is this page ignored by them? Are we not the voice of the people, THEIR customers? When someone states they have a LEGAL and IMPERATIVE REQUIREMENT to pull data, does MS no longer care about us and our needs as discussed in this thread?

Their "excuse" that they are hiding or containing "microdata" to preserve the anonymity of the poster is just BOGUS!

They must focusing on Windows 11 patches since everyone has to upgrade.

    Thank you for posting this.

However, while the "forward" option works fine for a single message, this is not a solution for copying a full conversation with metadata. It is not feasible to [forward --> copy --> paste --> repeat] for every message in a conversation that needs to be noted in a ticketing system, legal documentation of events or many other valid situations.

Microsoft NEEDS to stop ignoring the needs of their customers and provide a valid solution for us.

Never tried, but, THANK YOU, this is much better than the Copy Link, it eliminates several steps.
I never tried because I simply didn't need to forward. so I just tried and sent to myself and was able to easily copy the three elements.
    Again, thank you.

Did you try the "forward" option?

i.e. - select the message you want to copy + select "forward" = able to copy message contents and date/time from the forward window.

Not optimum, but better than nothing, albeit absurd (as you noted) that we have to go to this length...
