Why in Teams you are unable to copy the time stamp and name of the person anymore.

its an annoying workaround, but in a pinch you can forward the message then copy the timestamp and name without issue from the forward pop out.

you'd have to do that for each individual message though.

When copying a conversation from a messaging application it is only logical to include the time signatures and names of the messengers.

It seems an unusual requirement to not include these elements.

Please reinforce with Microsoft the need to return this functionality as the default setting for Teams and add the stripped-down, content-only/context-less version as an option in settings.

• Most of the users and most often than not obviously prefer the name and time stamp be part of chat being copied for obvious reasons.

This feature is incredibly helpful for many of us, Microsoft Teams users—and even more so for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The ability to copy conversations allows them to revisit and fully understand the discussion in written form. In fact, this functionality should not only be preserved but enhanced. Ideally, Teams should also offer the option to save the entire conversation once it ends, making communication more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
