Microsoft Teams - Dark Mode now has annoying vertical white borders between screen sections

Yesterday morning, seemingly after an update, everyone in my group who uses Dark Mode in Teams noticed vertical white lines appear that divide the sections of the chat screen (between the left side icons and the chat selection tree as well as between the tree and the chat window itself. We all find these lines very annoying and would like to remove them. However, we haven't found a way to turn them off. Suggestions (besides switching to the blinding Light or Classic modes?

Same here. The fix of deleting everything in the folder noted below and then restarting Teams worked for me for the past few days (since mid-week last week when I first noticed this issue and then found this thread with helpful suggestions), though I did have to restart Teams a few times before it would open and then stay open without the lines after deleting the contents of that folder.

    %userprofile%\appdata\local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams

The problem is, Teams kept showing me that it had an update available after I applied that fix, and I would have to go through the same steps each day after starting my laptop from scratch. Today, that fix stopped working. The lines are back, and I can't seem to get rid of them. I don't see a lot of info on this when I search about the issue, other than this thread.

Microsoft, this is a bad design choice. Please fix it. Those of us who choose dark mode do not want some weird hybrid of dark mode and high-contrast mode.

I was deleting the MSTeams folder from that location each morning as part of my routine, but now today that doesn't seem to fix the issue for the entire day. Thankfully I still have Teams Classic installed on my workstation, so going back to using Teams Classic has fixed this for me.

It's really dumb that I have to use a completely different version of the software to get around a visual bug.

I don't understand why removing the cache & registry entries for Teams, then deleting & reinstalling the program does not work. Clearly there is some sort of data relating to customised options stuck somewhere in the machine. It's been well over 2 weeks, we've had Patch Tuesday, and still no fix. Those of us used to dark mode find the white/light/operating system difficult to use again. I also understand that this appears to be a graphical glitch and not something that stops the program working (unlike Acrobat Reader and 24H2).

Is it possible to get Microsoft to advise where the remaining customisation data for the program resides?

And why is it that 2 white lines that are 1 pixel wide is sending me completely off my rocker?
