Microsoft Teams - Dark Mode now has annoying vertical white borders between screen sections

Yesterday morning, seemingly after an update, everyone in my group who uses Dark Mode in Teams noticed vertical white lines appear that divide the sections of the chat screen (between the left side icons and the chat selection tree as well as between the tree and the chat window itself. We all find these lines very annoying and would like to remove them. However, we haven't found a way to turn them off. Suggestions (besides switching to the blinding Light or Classic modes?

This only seems to work for me because Teams starts by installing an older version. If I press the "Update"-button next to my profile picture then the lines come back once Teams restarts.

It still did not resolve the issue. Once the application is uninstalled and then reinstallation is executed, the vertical lines do disappear but then, the fix is temporary. Some kind of add-in feature installation is automatically triggered, and application again starts to exhibit the same kind of vertical lines in dark mode.
