Microsoft Teams - Dark Mode now has annoying vertical white borders between screen sections

Yesterday morning, seemingly after an update, everyone in my group who uses Dark Mode in Teams noticed vertical white lines appear that divide the sections of the chat screen (between the left side icons and the chat selection tree as well as between the tree and the chat window itself. We all find these lines very annoying and would like to remove them. However, we haven't found a way to turn them off. Suggestions (besides switching to the blinding Light or Classic modes?

You can't get rid of them- it's in the source code I think

Please make them go away! I also want you to make dark mode slightly lighter, just a bit, so it's easier to differenciate all the windows.
