As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

3 dots next to your profile pic. Then click About Teams at the bottom. See if you have any updates. If you don't have the versions that Alan above posted, then update to them.

I can confirm that the issue is gone with these versions.
I did update and this is the current version i have and the issue is still there

I looked and so far there seems to be no way to update the client version.
If TEAMS is controlled by your IT dept, they may have to push the update out.
