Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

    Yes, I did have Classic in the list as well so uninstalled it. Then I had to Reset Teams.

    It's now ok at 100% zoom level but I will see if it's still working when I log back in next week.

    Try signing out of Teams if you're still having this issue. I just did it & it worked.

    Close app- go into the start menu- microsoft teams- right click- more- settings- reset. None of the other things worked, but this did.

    This worked. Did Terminate and then Reset.
    I had dark mode on initially and it booted up with light mode and back with the chat section minimized.

    Edit: It has been 3 working days (09/09/24) using Teams daily, full shift and issue has not reoccurred after fix.

    Edit 2; Jinxed myself. Issue returned about 4 hours into shift. Did Terminate and Reset again. Resolved again. Probably going to be a reoccurring issue up till or if ever its addressed.
