As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

I uninstalled it and it went back with all saved data. I guess this is the fix. Thanks to everyone who helped. (Take the rest of the day off...lol)
NONE of the fixes address or are applicable to the web-based version.
As everyone here has confirmed, your provided steps do not resolve the issue. Is there a fix that's being implemented to revert the change? It's been over 2 weeks with no proper resolution. If so, when is the expected release of the update? I'm encountering this issue on Mac.
As of today, my Teams seems to have fixed itself. Hopefully this is a permanent fix!
I have no control either. I cannot uninstall this thing nor fix it.
Very frustrating.
"New" Teams is awful. An Upgrade was not needed. PLEASE put it back the way it was.
