Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

2024-08-27T14:47:53+00:00 I was having the same issue but was able to resolve it pretty easily! Close out of Teams > Navigate to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Locate Microsoft Teams > Advanced Options under the 3-dots > scroll down to Reset and select it. Easier and quicker than doing an uninstall/reinstall.

2024-08-27T14:01:18+00:00 My users are also starting to complain about this issue. Alot of them don't like using teams full maximized screen so when they make the teams smaller, it usually auto hides the chat bar on the left side.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
