Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

None of these steps worked for myself or anyone in my Org as well. It's really frustrating. Everyone I work with uses teams in a small window so they can use it while working on other things and we all have our monitors mapped out where we like our programs. Forcing something like this and not letting it be an option has me baffled. I even tried switching back to Classic Teams and it's that way there now too.

By far worst update I've seen.

Close app- go into the start menu- microsoft teams- right click- more- settings- reset. None of the other things worked, but this did.

worked for mine, thanks so much!!! my autism was going nuts lol.

    also worked for me.

This fix worked for me on a previous version, but did not with the current (latest). Microsoft Teams (for Mac) Version 24215.1002.3039.5089 (24215.1002.3039.5089)

I was able to fix this issue. I completely uninstalled teams from my computer and restarted my computer. Than after resinstalling it the tab collapsed as it shouldn
