Unable to collapse the left side panel in teams anymore

As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

    Thanks!!! This worked for me but we will see if it holds when I open the app tomorrow.

    This is only a temporary fix because as soon as the app can update again, it'll go back to not collapsing

    I can resolve the issue and then it reverts same day.

    Microsoft please get this resolved.
