As of yesterday, the display of my teams will no longer collapse the left side panel. I've tried settings, restarting the app, and restarting the computer. It used to open after selecting one of the options next to it, like chat or teams and then it would automatically close after I selected what I wanted from those options. How do I get it to collapse again?

I have had the same issue, I've tried all these steps and nothing works and "collapse app in the sidebar is not even an option under appearance and accessibility
I wish that I could but my organization, like others, governs what I can and cannot install :-(
For the love of god @De Paul N. Kwizera, please respond! Dozens of people are having this issue and none of your solutions worked! I'm forced by my company to use this application, and this is a papercut that's slowly killing me.
Same issue here. There are no diagonal arrows or anything to select.
It started happening this morning. Super annoying and I don't want to delete all the data in the app.
I want to hide the pane outlined in red (names removed for privacy reasons). It used to hide automatically when I selected a team, and you'd just have the chat window on the right side:
P.S. If I shrink the window I can't keep shrinking width-wise, so it doesn't hide the "Teams" pane like it used to.
I stumbled upon a solution for this, If you hold control and use your mouse wheel you can zoom in and out. Out of frustration I just kept zooming in and eventually the chat panel went away and now it works like it used to.
