How can I fix the notification banner position for the new Microsoft Teams?

Has there been a fix for this? I've noticed you have reposted same instructions a number of times over several months ignoring the fact that those instructions aren't helping us.

As the other users have mentioned there is NO existing option in settings/notifications/banner and email/banner notification position.

I would REALLY like to move my banner away from the bottom right corner to absolutely any other corner of the screen. The bottom right interferes with the software program that tax preparers use at HRBLOCK. It's a daily disturbance for us. It's quite frustrating and it's absolutely amazing to us that we can't move the position to the bottom left or left top or right top.

My question is, "Is Microsoft working on finding a solution for this or not?" If not, then just please let us know. At least then we can make a decision about our continued use of Microsoft Teams.

Our office just switched to new Teams and immediatly I was annoyed by this.

How come it's March 2024 and there is no solution?

Accroding to your description, to change the position of the notification banner in the new Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:

1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Teams app.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on "Notifications" in the left-hand menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Banner and email" section.
5. Under "Banner notification position," select "Bottom right" from the drop-down menu.

This should change the position of the notification banner to the lower-rightmost part of your screen.

Well that’s the complaint though?! Not helpful! We want to move it away from the bottom right. It’s stupid. It needs to be moved elsewhere. If it’s the bottom right, it covers the typing area! Moving it up barely to the default area still covers the typing area. Make it so someone can move it anywhere. Why the F is this still an issue after years of complaints?!

I hear ya! I know, like why is this so hard for them to do? Other systems similar to Teams gives you the ability to move your notification banner to any location you want and we've been complaining and asking Microsoft to make this an option and yet still nothing. Like how hard is it for them to make an update to make this an option? I'm not a software developer so I have no idea but if its an unreasonable update then just freaking tell us, right?
