How can I fix the notification banner position for the new Microsoft Teams?

certainly " helpful" when the option to adjust the banner only available to the Microsoft editor hahahaha, seriously please come out with solution is getting frustrate the update seem more to be downgrade to me now

Accroding to your description, to change the position of the notification banner in the new Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:

1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Teams app.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on "Notifications" in the left-hand menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Banner and email" section.
5. Under "Banner notification position," select "Bottom right" from the drop-down menu.

This should change the position of the notification banner to the lower-rightmost part of your screen.

I went back to the previous version because of this. As everyone has said before, the option you describe does not exist in the New Teams. It has been more than three months since this was reported, any updates?

I'm just as frustrated by this stupid notification banner for a slightly different reason! I was excited when it moved thinking FINALLY! It won't cover where I'm typing in the chat now, but OHHHH how wrong I was! It STILL covers the chat box. WHY can't Microsoft fix this!? People have been foruming and complaining for years now! Why can't we get simply a flashing orange icon instead of a banner at all? Much like Skype? I'm a leader and apart of multiple teams and individual chats and I can be tying something to someone and then suddenly I'm in a different chat. The number of banners that pop up is overwhelming but I'm also in a position where I can't simply turn them off. I need the notification. It's beyond asinine and frustrating and if I was not forced to used teams, I would virtually burn it in a huge dumpster fire.
