How can I fix the notification banner position for the new Microsoft Teams?

Hi,

I just installed the new Microsoft Teams and I noticed that the notification banner is displaying a bit off. It would be great if it were displayed in the lower-rightmost part of the screen (just like from the Teams classic).

    This needs to be fixed. I loathe the new teams update for many reasons... This being one of the main ones... The notification positioning and preview need to mirror classic Teams. The switch to New teams has brought 0 improvement to my use of the tool; in fact, it is a poorer experience overall.

    I could not agree with you more. It is worse than the Classic Teams and yet I have been forced off of Classic Teams without this issue having been addressed. It would be easy for them to mirror the experience and yet they just ignore their customers.

    I don't like it at the bottom right of the screen, it blocks a LOT of my work.

    I would prefer it to be at the TOP of the screen, NOT at the bottom.

    WHY can't we move it where we want it?

    It's almost May 2024 and I am getting the notification that the Classic version will be soon discontinued. Still, there are several imperfections that should have been resolved long time ago.

    So, I've been told the banner position is deliberate. The popup is floating above the task bar by 90px to avoid covering the compose box in Teams meetings and chats when maximised. Also positioned to avoid covering other Windows Notifications.

    Microsoft are looking into giving the option to reposition it like you can in Classic Teams.

    I hope they give the option soon as floating way above the task bar is annoying.

    Currently running New Teams version 23320.3027.2591.1505 and can confirm that this is still an issue....
