"New" Teams notification are not working correctly

Notifications in the "new" Teams are horrible. I keep missing activity posts, chats and phone calls because I'm not notified. I do NOT want another email report of new posts and things I missed throughout the day. I want a notification indicator on the taskbar icon, a notification indicator on the Activity/Chat/Calls icons in the left column, and I want the @ notification if I'm tagged in anything. I'm eager to use the "new" Teams but so far there are too many things are just plain terrible and useless.

    The new Teams is worse than the old:

    1. It does not show activity in the tray icon. It should.
    2. it does not copy the Windows Do Not Disturb status to Teams status. It should.

    The same for me: not all notifications are showing, i only recieved one from a one-on-one Chat, but in the notification settings all notifications are set to show.
    Especially annoying are the missing notifiaction when a scheduled ist started by a participant (one of my most used feature for the notifications).
    Luckily i could revert bach to the normal "classic" teams through the settings menu - the notifications work just fine again!

    Apparently this has fixed the issue for me, I can now see the number of unread chats in the Windows bar icon.

    It didn't fix it for me. And also had the side effect of removing the option to use Classic Teams instead (until I restored the files from the Recycle Bin)
