I have all notifications turned on but I am still not getting any notifications for teams on my I phone. I have deleted app and reinstalled etc. any advice correcting this issue?

I solved the problem folks.
I had the same problem, I even wrote in this article, unfortunately I could not get support from any microsoft expert...
The problem was the same as you guys experienced, only the only difference is that when I left my old company and switched to my new company, the problem started after I deleted my old teams account and added a new one, so I mean, the start of the problem may be different, but the problem is the same.
How did I solve it?
I have contacted Apple support and the solution I will suggest will definitely be valid for apple phones.
For Iphone

In this reset process, none of your data is lost, your images, phonebooks, etc. are all there, but simple personalizations such as cookies and alarms are reset and you will need to set them up again...
This worked perfectly fine, just in case people need more information: this will also delete all your payment methods from Apple Wallet so you will have to set them up again, besides that, just opening your apps and giving permissions again will be pretty effortless. Thanks for sharing this solution, definitely better than factory resetting!

We are all still dealing with the same problem here, and there is still no solution from Microsoft.
One alternative I found is to configure Teams to send you an email notification when someone tries to contact you on Teams. You can set it up to send an email every 10 minutes or "as soon as possible."
This doesn't solve the problem, but at least you'll receive an email notifying you that someone is trying to reach you on Teams.
To make things easier, create a rule based on the email subject so that all these notifications go to the same folder, preventing your Outlook inbox from getting overloaded.
