How can I look less red on Team calls?

I have a new macbook pro (14" M3) and find that when I use teams I look much redder than normal, like I've a sunburn. I don't have this problem using google meets. Is there some way to adjust the settings so my face looks normal in meetings?
I have the latest version of Teams. I've tried going to Teams settings and switching from FaceTime HD camera to my iphone and it's even worse. I've tried it with green screen on and off and adjusting brightness. Thanks in advance for your help

Hello,

From Microsoft Engineering we want to provide an update on this issue. Thank you all for reporting this problem and we appreciate your feedback and insights. 

As several reported, Teams desktop shows a red tint for video rendered in meeting stage, which is easier to notice when viewing preview video stream. The team found a problem with how the video rendering was configured for displays with certain profiles, resulting in wrong color space adjustment. A fix for this was released in Teams Client version 24267.700.3135.7488, that is now rolled out to all users and clouds as of January 12th 2025. 

Although this change improves the experience for majority of the scenarios and make the tones more accurate where viewing video feeds in Mac devices, there are still certain cases that can result in wrong color adjustment, especially when viewing Mac camera in remote machines or with multiple displays with different presets. Our team is working towards keep addressing remaining scenarios with more changes through the upcoming months.

    If anyone is still having this issue. I have found that toggling the "Adjust brightness" toggle to OFF significantly reduces the sunburn effect.

    There is also a soft focus toggle that when turned on can dampen the redness as well.

    Click the drop-down next to the Camera icon to access these toggles.

    I know this doesn't fix the app, but I've got rosacea and deal with this anyway. Half the time it's the color of the light thats being cast on you. If my background or auxiliary screen is white, my face is bright red (not to mention if there is something red on my screen...) Change your screen background color or I literally have a PNG that is a medium blue-ish green rectangle that I open up and enlarge somewhere on my screens (I move it around to find where it sits best. That color works best with my skin tone. I also suggest other true greens, forest, anything on the bluer side. Good luck, red people!

    this is i guess what most people are concerned about, but there i can put you at ease:

    the OTHER side actually sees a perfectly fine picture, its just the mirroring display on the same machine that looks tomatoey.

    Respectfully, Marcel Bricman, what you are describing is not consistent with my experience.

    I've asked multiple people to take their own screenshots of me on video calls while using Teams for Mac, and again, they see a very red version of me--whether they are on Mac or PC, mobile device or not. I've also done this in real time in the office with colleagues all around me while on a multiparty conference call. Again, red, red, red.

    I've seen the images to prove it.

    Teams for Mac is suffering from a color shift issue with native Mac cameras, and Teams on the browser--using the same camera and same Mac--does not. The issue is NOT limited to the preview thumbnail as you are asserting, and to invoke your emphasis, the OTHER side also sees a red tinted version of my camera feed.

    Try: SETTINGS> DISPLAYS> Switch off True Tone option. Not perfect but made some difference :-)
