Hi, I have upgraded to "New Teams". I'm writing in multiple languages in different chats. The "old" Version was automatically identifying the language and then do spelling check for this language as described in following article:
Unfortunately this feature does not work on the "new" teams. How can I get back this feature?

unfortunately, the problem remains. Reinstalling or resetting teams does not fix the issue either.
I hope that Microsoft still cares about its clients, even though this issue has been known since last year.
It's annoying that every time you switch to another language, the text is underlined in red. It's almost unreadable.
WHAT ARE YOU MICROSOFT PEOPLE WAITING FOR TO ACTIVATE THIS FEATURE IN THE ‘NEW TEAMS’?
You can go back to Teams Classic , but apparently only for a short time before you have to activate New Teams again. And that's not a good solution.
I don't understand how you work: you publish a new version of a tool that doesn't even include the features of the previous version.
This new Teams isn't satisfactory, it's a step backwards compared to Teams classic .
Microsoft Teams lags significantly behind other collaboration platforms. For instance, competitors have already integrated AI features like spell checking, text optimization, and automatic translation. Users can view messages in their preferred language, regardless of the language in which they were written, and more. It's disappointing that Microsoft released a new version with such major limitations.
Agreed! Looks like nobody at microsoft is looking at it nor to this community, which is just an empty frustrating report. To open a ticket via Microsoft is another hard thing to do... I'm thinking about asking someone that works on Microsoft/Teams via LinkedIn to see if this matter gets any attention. sad!
It's about a year since New Teams was introduced and this basic feature is still not working. There are so many people around the globe who use multiple languages in their daily business. I use English and Czech. For English, it works fine, for Czech, it doesn't work at all. What's even worse, in the Czech language all the text gets underlined as misspelled, which makes it *** hard to read and check for any typos visually. I can see them right after sending the message and then have to edit every second message. That sucks.
