I appear to be the only one on our team (suddenly and inexplicably) missing the Gif button on my Teams desktop App/browser. It appears the same when I log on via edge. Where has my GIF button gone and how do I get it back?

I am also having the same issue. I am using New Teams and the problem started yesterday. My coworkers don't have the issue, and the only solution/workaround that has worked for me in the "windows key + period", but the GIFs option is still not restored to it's original location.
I found a workaround that might work. Use the online version of Teams. Mine are missing on the New Teams app too, but when I go unto the online version, it is there.
This has not worked for me. I did everything including re-downloading and multiple restarts. As soon as I went to the "new teams" the other day, all of the icons disappeared beneath the text box. Inside the text box are only emoji and edit icons.
browser version is missing the icons for me as well. I have a feeling it's something on my backend profile stored at Microsoft (cloud servers).. It's most likely a bug and Microsoft needs to fix it. I think it's more widespread than we think. probably some database field value or combination that is messing it up for just some users.
It looks like they didn't download the most updated version, by the way.
