I appear to be the only one on our team (suddenly and inexplicably) missing the Gif button on my Teams desktop App/browser. It appears the same when I log on via edge. Where has my GIF button gone and how do I get it back?

Same here, and it just started partway through the day yesterday (4/8). It's not affecting any of my colleagues and I've still been able to receive GIFs without issue.
SOLUTION: I uninstalled the "new" Teams via Settings and downloaded Teams directly from teams.microsoft.com/downloads and the GIF option came back!
Hi, I am also having the same issue.
I am also having the same issue here. As of today on 04/09/2024 my Giffy is missing in the NEW Teams, but is working fine in the OLD Teams. I am also missing a lot of other functions in the "type a new message box" in new Teams. I tried all the suggestions in this thread which include:
Nothing fixes New Teams.
I have the same issue. I'm also using the New Teams. I tried the same solutions, and the only workaround that worked was pressing the Windows key + period button, which brought up a pop-up menu for choosing emojis and gifs. Sadly, this workaround doesn't restore gifs to their original location, so it's still bugged for me.
EDIT: Earlier in the day it worked fine, but when I downloaded the recent windows update the bug appeared.
