I appear to be the only one on our team (suddenly and inexplicably) missing the Gif button on my Teams desktop App/browser. It appears the same when I log on via edge. Where has my GIF button gone and how do I get it back?

    Hi, Mustafa -

After reviewing the community posts this one was one of the things I checked. Optional connected experiences is on. I haven't checked the whole office, but I'm the only one on my team with this issue.

Hello! My name is Mustafa, and I am an Independent Advisor as well as a long-time Microsoft user. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I am hopeful that I will be able to help you find a satisfactory solution.

In yours, settings (...) at the top of the Teams client > Privacy > Scroll down to Optional Connected Experiences - is this turned on? If it is turned off it will turn Giphy off and she will not be able to use GIFs

Also is it you only who has this issue in your organization.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Warm Regards,

    Mustafa

The thing is, our administrator is out of town and other members of the team, and the same chat, are not having this issue.

Given the flood of questions about this here in the community, it looks more like a widespread bug or intentional removal than a settings issue. We'll just have to wait for Microsoft to respond to the questions here.
